Other than that, Komad warns that the Sand People this deep in the desert are a far greater threat than the ones we dealt with that were harassing Czerka Corporation interests. That includes getting Bantha Fodder and using it to lure the Banthas to the cave, where they will be eaten. For some reason, Komad wants you to help him out by doing all of the legwork. He needs the traditional food of the Krayt Dragon, Banthas, to lure the dragon out of his lair, into the mines, and dead as a doornail he will become. Instead, he's laid out mines all around the entrance to the cave. Komad has no intention of fighting the beast. Komad's friend ran into the lair (as we see in the beginning of this sequence) and was likely killed. He is at the end of his hibernation cycle (this particular Krayt Dragon, anyway) and will be an easy kill. He has a glorious plan to get the infamous Krayt Dragon from his lair.
